“ Picked this resto for a birthday dinner with family, SO MUCH FUN! literally the best staff, they make so much effort to make it an experience and make it even more special when it’s a birthday! The food also lived up to the hype, but definitely go for the specialty meals, that’s where it’s wow. There are gluten free options listed on the menu and the staff is helpful in answering questions but there is always a risk for cross contamination however I felt totally fine after the dinner. I would recommend though for future dinner parties or even their special brunch events! ”
“ What an experience! Immersive and transportive. Felt like I was back in time, in a world of fantasy. I didn’t quite understand all of what was said and was hoping there would be some English in there too, but for the most part, the energy of the crowd, the singing and theatrics, was so contagious that the language barrier often became an afterthought. The food was generous, hearty and so more ish. Nothing to fault here. My partner and I shared two tasting platters in which we sampled their Pork Ribs, Viking’s Quenelle, Game Pie and Boar Sausage. All excellent and how can I forget their fries! These were the underdogs. They let us get a mix of the their three kinds - spicy wedges, cinnamon sugar chips, and salted fries - all of which were scrumptious. My favorite was the spicy kind which was painfully delicious. We ended with a molten chocolate dessert which came with the best concoction of cranberries and Grand Marnier on the side, which created depths I didn’t know existed. The molten chocolate itself was okay. Besides the service being rather relaxed with things often taking longer to arrive than preferred, this is worth a visit for everyone visiting Montreal. As for locals, run. Don’t walk! ”
“ It's worth every penny. The food was amazing, the service 1000 out of 10, everyone there is very friendly, joyful and funny. I went with my family to celebrate a birthday it was so fun, the atmosphere definitely felt medieval. We were on winter so it was kinda cold since it was at night, the lights were very dim but you get use to it, in case you want to go late, it is better to bring a good jacket but overall we were very excited to be there. It really was a lot of fun. Btw, you have to try the boar sausage!!! Is soooo good! ”
“ From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere at Auberge du Dragon swept us into a world of medieval charm. The food was nothing short of amazing and vegan options as well upon request! What truly made our visit unforgettable, however, was the service. Our waitress went above and beyond to make us feel special. Her personality and attention to our table (of 11 people!) made the experience even more magical. A big shoutout to Clotilde – you are our favorite person forever! A biiiig thank you as well to the musicians for making our night great too!! Thank you, Auberge du Dragon, for providing such an exceptional experience. We'll definitely be back! ”
“ It's rare that I have such an amazing time at a restaurant! This place is everything you hope it will be. The decor and ambiance of this place is amazing and immersive. Even the outfits of the servers match the theme. Our server Clo Clo was so amazing and helpful when it came to explanations. She went above and beyond. There was a performer with a string instrument (lyre i think?) who was incredibly talented. We didn't speak french very well and he took the time to welcome us and make us feel welcome and included in the participatory parts of his performances. It feels like you are a part of a big family here. I ordered an ogre galette (burger) with confit fries that were very yummy!!! My friend got the dragon hatchling wings which we both really enjoyed. very moist and tender with crispy skin. The portions of both food and drink are very generous. If you like themed restaurants as much as I do, you need to go here. Clo also gave us a little surprise at the end. Be aware that you cannot pay by credit here. It is debit or cash only! My group was very lucy to get a walk in table, make a reservation!!!! ”
“ Oyez! Oyez! Had an amazing dinner with my 2 brothers last night. The minute you walk through those doors, you're transported into a Medieval realm full of splendor and glee. Everything from: the service, to the costumes, to the ambience, to the troubadours and live music, to the authentic French inspired Medieval food... was amazing! It's a pretty penny, but it is an experience worth having! Shout out to our server Darius! ”
“ We had an amazing experience, went for my birthday, had amazing food and vibes, excellent live music from the bards! Makes you feel like you were part of a successful medieval guild lol. Would highly recommend, CloClo was our server and she was very friendly and accommodating, along with all the staff. Would highly recommend visiting for an unforgettable and super fun experience! ”
“ We got dragon claws, which were amazing. Gargantuas forest feast which was also good, while it says 2 people you probably want to get it for 3 or 4. The staff members are amazing, fun music and atmosphere. It’s worth the price for the food and the experience. ”
